Coordination

We all suffer from coordination problems at some point in our lives; and when we do, they will be for a variety of reasons. Lack of adequate rest is a common cause of poor coordination. We all know that when we are extremely tired, it is difficult to be as coordinated as when we have had a good night's sleep. However, when a child appears consistently uncoordinated, there may be a number of issues underlying that challenge. One aspect of the issue may be fatigue; if there are other issues as well, increased sleep will not resolve the problem.

The sunflower practitioner understands that poor coordination is not necessarily simply a muscular, neurological or sleep issue. We cannot separate the way we move our limbs from the way we think; equally, we cannot separate the efficiency of our brain function from the food we put into our bodies to fuel the brain. We are a complex integrated living system that requires complex integrated programmes to help relieve some of the challenges we face when we are out of balance. Fortunately, Sunflower is such a programme!
