Benefits of Becoming a Practitioner
The Sunflower Therapy is an exciting and dynamic treatment encompassing many aspects of Osteopathy, Applied Kinesiology and other holistic disciplines. It maximises balance of structure, chemistry and emotion in a uniquely systematic and progressive way.

The Sunflower Therapy is a comprehensive approach to the diagnosis and treatment of learning difficulties that can also be effectively used to manage a whole range of patients that you see in your practice. It's a unique way of relieving stress and promoting well-being using an array of safe natural therapies matched to each patient's individual needs. By tackling many of the underlying causes of the problems, patients are enabled to achieve more of their own potential.

Practitioners who complete the Sunflower Therapy training programme will receive the benefit of referrals from the Sunflower Trust, as well as having the satisfaction of knowing they have a unique skill that will appreciably improve the success of their practice on all levels, in a way that would be difficult to accomplish on their own.

The Training
The Sunflower Therapy course requires attendance at 7 weekend training courses and an integral part of this is the supervised treatment of patients from an early stage. Additionally, students are expected to undertake study and practical work between each module. The weekend seminars are organised in such a way as to build progressively on each other while giving opportunities for review, practice, reinforcement and cross-reference to existing material. The course includes an extensive manual that underpins the Sunflower Therapy whilst allowing ease of use and step-by-step learning.
During the final stages of training, trainees will be expected to observe Sunflower practitioners at work and undertake treatment under their supervision.

(*To train Practitioners overseas, the Sunflower Trust can arrange 2 one-week training courses for a minimum of 15 students. To register an interest in this programme please e-mail the Sunflower Trust.)

The Sunflower Practitioners Group
The Sunflower Practitioners Group consists of committed professional natural health practitioners, dedicated to the higher levels of success in facilitating the health, growth and development of young people to maximise their potential in the most efficient, respectful, effective and meaningful ways.

The Group exists to support the objectives of the Sunflower Trust: to co-operate, share time, knowledge and skills that'll better enable us to help children with learning difficulties through the Sunflower Therapy. It's a forum that provides us with the opportunities to benefit mutually from each other through study, research, discussion and exchange of knowledge, views and experience.

In doing this, we're committed to on-going improvements and in remaining at the forefront of what we have to offer our patients. We focus on maintaining high levels of ethical conduct, competence and sensitivity to our patients, our profession, each other and the society in which we live.

We always seek to:

• acknowledge and respect the innate intelligence and self-healing power of all living things
• develop and evolve our work through diligence with others who share an interest in the field
• trust and respect each other and enjoy the task, providing a safe therapeutic choice through which children, their families and the community may find freedom from suffering through improved performance in body, mind and spirit.

Our objective is to have in the Sunflower Practitioner Group a centre of excellence where people could benefit from integrated natural medicine, matched to their personal needs.
